Bob Darrah

Bob Darrah coached four team state titles and was named national coach of the year in 1988. He compiled a 340-17-2 record at Morning Sun, Urbandale , and West Des Moines Dowling, and later coached at Simpson College .

Jim Harmon

Jim Harmon was NCAA champion at 157 pounds for Iowa State Teachers College in 1953, and was a two-time All-American.

Jeff Heffernan

Jim Heffernan was NCAA champion at 150 pounds for the University of Iowa and was also a four-time All-American. He won four Big Ten titles and has been a very successful coach at Oregon State and Illinois , winning National Assistant Coach of the Year honors in 1995, 2001, and 2003.

Bruce Kinseth

Bruce Kinseth was NCAA champion at 150 pounds in 1979 for the University of Iowa, and was a two-time All-American. He was Midlands and Big Ten champion, as well. His senior year, he pinned his way through the Big Ten and NCAA tournament, the only athlete ever to do so
